In the context of global changes and increasing pressure on water resources, PC4 – Footprint and Sentinel aims to develop an operational definition of the water footprint, through methodological frameworks capable of representing the resource and its environment in all their dimensions.
This call for expressions of interest aims to encourage collaborative projects addressing one or more of the following four priority scientific challenges:
- Develop sentinel indicators adapted to territories,
- Characterize multiple pressures on water resources,
- Co-develop approaches with local stakeholders,
- Integrate results into existing tools (ACV, AI, etc.).
Funding : Up to 75 000 € for half-funded PhD posiitions or post-doctoral positions, based on 1:1 co-funding

This initiative is part of the national programme OneWater – Eau Bien Commun (led by CNRS, BRGM, and INRAE) and contributes to accelerating the transitions needed to address water challenges in the context of global change.
