OneWater - Eau Bien Commun
This call aims to co-develop Phase 2 of PC6, dedicated to the large-scale implementation and testing of solutions rooted in specific territories.
In the context of global changes and increasing climatic and anthropogenic pressures on socio-hydrosystems, PC6 – SoluTest of the OneWater – Eau Bien Commun programme aims to test, at the territorial scale, the effectiveness of innovative solutions designed to strengthen the sustainability and adaptability of socio-hydrosystems.
The project builds on a shared interdisciplinary framework for selecting and monitoring solutions, developed during the first phase of PC6, and aims to move toward an operational phase of large-scale implementation and evaluation.
This Call for Expressions of Interest (AMI) seeks to encourage collaborative projects involving researchers and operational stakeholders from the territories, addressing one or more of the following four priority scientific axes:
- Develop multidimensional approaches, integrating relevant spatial and temporal scales
- Explore governance models and citizen involvement, incorporating local knowledge and territorial dynamics
- Define new criteria for the sustainability and adaptability of socio-hydrosystems
- Develop and test frameworks for selecting and monitoring solutions, enabling the evaluation of their effectiveness over time
Proposals must be based on a conception of water as a common good, integrating both human and non-human living systems, and must be anchored in one or several clearly identified territories.
Funding : Support may be porvided for the funding of last one PhD position or postdoctoral position, whenever possible on the basis of co-funding.
