OneWater - Eau Bien Commun 

More than 200 scientists, decision-makers, and territorial stakeholders gathered in Bordeaux from 26 to 28 August 2025 for the 2nd edition of the OneWater – Eau Bien Commun Days.

The 2nd edition of the OneWater – Eau Bien Commun Days brought together in Bordeaux more than 200 participants from across France, representing diverse backgrounds – researchers, water managers, territorial stakeholders, and public decision-makers.

Over the course of three days, the programme featured:

  • 1 opening scientific conference
  • 4 thematic round tables
  • 18 collaborative workshops
  • 16 early-career researcher pitch presentations
  • 13 scientific posters
  • 3 field visits
  • and a friendly gala evening

These days provided an opportunity to:

  • Highlight recent advances in water research and its applications,
  • Showcase initiatives emerging from local territories,
  • Foster dialogue between scientists, local stakeholders, and decision-makers,
  • Explore new pathways for action to address water challenges in a context of global change.

This event confirmed the strength of the OneWater community, capable of bringing together and mobilizing a broad network around the sustainable management of water resources.
