From 14 to 16 May, the SoluTest targeted project (PC6) of the PEPR OneWater – Eau Bien Commun programme held its second seminar at the Manufacture des Tabacs in Toulouse.
Over the course of three days, the event brought together collaborators from diverse backgrounds around a shared ambition: co-develop analytical tools to guide decision-making and monitor solutions that promote the sustainability of socio-hydrosystems.

Three days of scientific co-construction
Building on the work carried out by four thematic groups (Nature-based Solutions, Processes, Circularity, and Governance), the seminar made progress on several key aspects:
- Development of a shared analytical framework for assessing proposed options
- Definition of monitoring criteria (indicators, scales, and methods) to evaluate the impacts of solutions
- Identification of current limitations and future needs for the next phases of the project
Through a combination of plenary sessions, workshops, and breakout group discussions, participants pooled their expertise, shared initial feedback from case studies, and laid the foundations for a common methodological framework.
An interdisciplinary dynamic serving the common good
The seminar highlighted the richness of dialogue between disciplines and the strong mobilization of teams around the objectives of the PEPR OneWater programme.
It represents an important milestone in the development of collective tools to support the transition toward more sustainable and adaptive water management systems.
