The Horizon Europe Water4All Partnership announces the launch of its 2025 call for proposals: “Water and Health.”

Water4All
This new call brings together 33 funding organisations from 30 countries and has an overall budget of approximately €28 million. The selected projects are expected to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the development of innovative solutions addressing the interactions between water and health.
The call covers the following thematic areas:
- Water contaminants and health risks: occurrence, behaviour, interactions, and vulnerability
- Innovative tools and technologies for monitoring water quality and exposure
- Water treatment and exposure reduction
- Governance, socio-economic innovation, and policy integration for water and health
The call also includes a specific scheme for early-career researchers holding a PhD obtained after 12 September 2025.
Key dates
- Call opening: 12 September 2025
- Deadline for submission of pre-proposals: 13 November 2025 at 15:00 (CET)
- Pre-proposal selection: end of February 2026
- Deadline for submission of full proposals: 13 April 2026 at 15:00 (CET)
- Selection of funded projects: September 2026
- Project start: end of 2026 / beginning of 2027
- Kick-off meeting: spring 2027
