The OneWater – Eau Bien Commun programme is launching a Call for Expressions of Interest to support multidisciplinary research teams working on four major and timely water-related topics.
9 April 2026
As part of its activities, the OneWater – Eau Bien Commun programme aims to fund multidisciplinary research teams of 5 to 8 researchers, supported by a postdoctoral researcher over the course of a year, to produce high-impact pluridisciplinary scientific syntheses designed to inform decision-makers and stakeholders.
The five themes proposed for this 2026 call are:
- Evolution of water storage: natural and artificial, surface and groundwater
- Evolution of surface and groundwater quality (from nutrients to emerging contaminants)
- Dynamics of aquatic biodiversity in France
- Evolution of water management in France and its financing
- Assessment of acces to information and water data in France and Europe
Selected projects will receive funding of up to €90k over the cours of a year, covering:
- the funding of a 12-month postdoctoral contract;
- two 5-day collective sessions dedicated to brainstorming and writing (synthesis centre format) for interdisciplinary teams of 5 to 8 researchers;
- at least one scientific publication and associated dissemination activities.
The project coordinator must be affiliated with a French higher education institution, research organisation, or national research body.
