From 6 to 10 July 2026, the OneWater Open School for early-career researchers will be held in Sète. Organised by the national research programme OneWater – Eau Bien Commun, the school aims to foster a shared culture of water as a common, through interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches.
This school is primarily intended for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers, offering a scientific immersion into surface water and groundwater-related issues.
Through lectures, interdisciplinary workshops and field activities in the Thau basin, participants will be invited to combine scientific approaches, disciplines and perspectives to better understand socio-hydrosystems and their governance and management.
The event will also provide a valuable space for exchanges with researchers and local stakeholders, strengthening collaboration and contributing to the emergence of a new generation of scientists engaged in water-related challenges.
