The Targeted Projects “SoluTest” – PC6 and “Governance” – PC7 are organizing a collective event dedicated to new forms of water governance, their fairness, inclusiveness, and their role in the sustainability and adaptability of socio-hydrosystems.

This workshop builds on the previous workshops organized by the two projects in 2024 and 2025 (Lyon, Toulouse, Rennes, Strasbourg) and represents an important step in the ongoing collective dynamic.

The event aims to deepen reflections on how new, more just and inclusive forms of water governance can contribute to the resilience, adaptability, and sustainability of socio-hydrosystems. Particular attention will be given to the integration of non-human entities into governance arrangements and into solutions developed at the territorial scale.

The workshop will strongly emphasize the exchange of perspectives, bringing together researchers, water policy actors, representatives of civil society organizations, and socio-economic stakeholders.

These discussions will make it possible to confront the conceptual frameworks developed during the first phase of the projects with real-world field situations, in order to move toward more territorially engaged research during the second phase of the PEPR programme.
